* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following counties, Aransas, Calhoun, Goliad, Refugio and Victoria. * WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 422 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Victoria, Seadrift, McFaddin, Guadalupe, Lamar, Point Comfort, Green Lake, Long Mott, Tivoli, Bloomington, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Placedo, Dacosta, Alamo Beach, Magnolia Beach, Wood Hi, Indianola, Downtown Victoria, Saxet Lakes and Victoria College. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. |
